New Zealand has a new museum. Except it’s in Fra New Zealand has a new museum. Except it’s in France or specifically a small town called Le Quesnoy which was lliberated by some kiwis soldiers not with number eight wire but they did have a ladder which turned out to be handy for getting over the ancient ramparts. The short name for the museum is Te Arawhata and up its very elegant stairs there is exhibition by The Letter Q with @object_support called From the Field to the Front which follows the part that rugby played for soldiers in WWI. “For All Blacks and casual players alike, rugby played a vital role in the lives of New Zealand servicemen. Whether competing or spectating, regular games raised their spirits, creating a sense of normality in times that were anything but.”
